Escalante, Utah…Here We Come. And we are bringing the Dark Feminine.

We are coming with all of our baggage, as well as our out of balance nervous systems and winter sadness. We will embrace the need to get clear before we can find balance.

This retreat is dedicated to letting this unwanted visitor, called sadness, into our space. We will give her a seat at our table and acknowledge her. We will celebrate her and extract her purpose. And we will look at her intrinsic teather to her lifetime companion, Joy.

Let yourself be held by the healing nature of the desert in the winter. Heal amongst the bare trees and the ground cover of snow.

This weekend will be investigating the meaning of The Dark Feminine.

Let all of the despair in.

Let the sadness take you over.

Some call her Sad. Some call her Despair. Some call her Depression. Perhaps she can be known by all of these names and still be a Gift.

What will happen if we let her in and see what she has to say?

Depression is like a woman in black.
