Love. Who or What are you Attracting or Repelling?

There are physical laws that govern magnetic attraction.

The most fundamental law of magnetism is that like poles repel one another and unlike poles attract each other; this can easily be seen by attempting to place like poles of two magnets together.

Other laws also exist. If a bar magnet is cut into two pieces, the pieces become individual magnets with opposite poles. Additionally, hammering, heating or twisting of the magnets can demagnetize them, because such handling breaks down the linear arrangement of the molecules. A final law of magnetism refers to retention; a long bar magnet will retain its magnetism longer than a short bar magnet.

What about the laws that govern the “Magnetic Attraction” between two people?

You all know those people, or claim to be those people. That are just meant to be together. It was written in the stars.

They say things like this…

🫶We can’t keep our hands off of each other. The physical connection is magical.

🫶We are always drawn back together. No matter what happens.

🫶The universe brought us together for a divine purpose.

🫶We have a deep spiritual/soul connection. Nobody can really understand this kind of depth.

Give me the fucking laws of physics, at least a magnet knows it’s attracting its opposite. At least a magnate knows it attracts iron. At least a magnet knows it will eventually, under certain conditions lose its magnetism. And at least a magnet knows there are other magnets in this universe to attract and repel.

Attraction can be confusing. Magnetic Attraction can be even more confusing. We put up the blinders to what is really going on in the relationship to hold tight to the story of our one true love.
