BREATHWORK: Love and Connection

Take My Breath Away!

*For all types of love, not just romantic relationships.

*Come alone, with friends, with a partner—JUST COME!

*All genders welcome!

There are tangible biological reactions that happen to our bodies when we fall in love. Some changes are physically noticeable such as “butterflies,” while other reactions are taking effect just below the surface. Chemical reactions such as the hormonal dump of oxytocin, vasopressin, dopamine, and adrenaline are creating a narrative in our brain to help us intimately bond with our partners.

Falling in love lights up the pleasure center in our brain and this hormonal elixir quite literally takes our breath away.

Join us for a night of exploring the positive benefits of Breathwork in Love and Connection.

The meeting of 2 personalities is like the contact of 2 chemical substances:

Eros: Sexual Passion and Desire

—Eros was viewed as a dangerous, fiery, and irrational form of love that could take hold of you and possess you—

Philia: Deep Friendship

—Philia concerned the deep comradely friendship that developed between brothers in arms who had fought side by side on the battlefield. It was about showing loyalty, sacrifice, and the expression of deep emotion—

Storge: Parent-Child

Storge is the most natural of Loves. A love that is bound by the laws and biology that regulate nature—

Agape: Selfless Love

Agape the most radical love of all. The love extended to all of humanity, such as the selfless love of God—
